长城网·冀云客户端讯（记者 赵博轩 实习生 李石 米雯婷）7月1日至7月3日，艾奥瓦州老朋友代表团来到河北进行友好交流活动。今年是河北与艾奥瓦州缔结友好省州的40周年。老朋友代表团一行先后到石家庄和雄安新区，进学校、访乡村、乘游船、赏美景，感受河北的发展活力。几十年来，艾奥瓦州老朋友为推动两省州友好合作关系发展作出了积极贡献，带动越来越多的艾奥瓦州民众参与到双方的友好交往中，友谊的火炬在两省州人民手中代代传承。

美国艾奥瓦州金伯利农场主瑞克·金伯利说到：“塔元庄这里的模式很棒，它同样可以在中国其他地区推广。这可以为乡村居民发展提供就业机会，并帮助人们过上更好的生活，这是我们都想要的。”

From July 1 to July 3, a delegation of "old friends" from Iowa, the United States visited Hebei Province. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of friendly relationship between Hebei and Iowa. The delegation visited Shijiazhuang and Xiongan New Area, where they toured schools, visited villages, took boat rides, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery, experiencing the vibrant development of Hebei. For decades, old friends from Iowa have contributed to the development of cooperation between Hebei and Iowa, encouraging more people from Iowa to participate in the friendly exchanges. The torch of friendship has been passed down through generations.

"Those models are great because they can be shown, developed, and used in other parts of China, which is good for developing jobs for people," said Rick Kimberley, Farmer at Kimberley Family Farm.

Rick Kimberley said these job opportunites such as high-tech jobs, modern jobs will help people have better livings, better lives for their families.
